Installation Vs Upgrade
Its fairly well known that you can do a clean install from an upgrade disk...quite why that should be I don't know but i'm not complaining as I wanted to do a fresh installation without any old XP clutter on my hd. Installation was a charm...all the necessary drivers for Dell D820 were present.
